Celebrate the holidays in Ardmore!
Ardmore, PA —On Friday, Dec. 5, Santa will arrive in Ardmore! As in previous years, he will leave the North Pole (aka Merion Fire House) at 6pm. After a short ride around town on his sleigh (aka Ardmore Fire Truck), he will arrive at Schauffele Plaza & be available for photos. Festivities include a holiday tree & dreidel lighting ceremony, holiday carols by the students of Regina Angelorum Academy, along with cookies, cocoa & hot cider, donated by Susquehanna Bank. The holiday tree is courtesy of Shreiner Tree Care & the dreidel is being donated by Mack Emanuel of Wells Fargo Insurance Company.
In this season of giving, The Ardmore Initiative & First Friday Main Line are sponsoring a food & toy drive to help those in need. The Food Drive will benefit Lower Merion's own Eldernet Food Cupboard and the Toy Drive will benefit children with disabilities served by the Variety Club. Toys & non-perishable food items may be dropped off at The Ardmore Initiative office weekdays between 10-5pm and at any First Friday venue on Friday. December 5 between 6-9pm. For a list of desired food & toy items, please visit www.allaboutardmore.com or www.firstfridaymainline.com.
Come out & kick off the Holiday season, Ardmore style, and remember: Support our downtown merchants and Buy Local!
